Prince George has the location, the workforce, and the infrastructure to attract serious investment from around the world — but the city has too often taken a passive approach, waiting for employers to come knocking. That needs to change.

Dan believes Prince George needs to fashion our Economic Development team into an aggressive global sales force. That means proactive sales calls and direct outreach to prospective employers. We need to start making our own luck.

Low taxes and safe streets are the first steps to attracting jobs and improving lives – but in the end “it’s always about the economy”.
